Budget Manager Settings

The tables below outline the options available on the Budget Manager Setup page on both the Setup and Peer Awards tabs.

Setting	Description
Turn budgeting OFF	Select this option to disable the Budget Manager feature.
Single Overall Budget	Select this option to enable a single global budget for the program. All transactions are drawn against this one budget.
Budgeting with Individual Hierarchy Nodes	Select this option to enable multiple budgets for individual hierarchy org nodes. All transactions processed by an org node are drawn against that node’s budget. For example, different franchises within one company can have different budgets for each franchise location.
Budgeting with Multiple Hierarchy Nodes	Select this option to enable multiple budgets for multiple hierarchy groups (hierarchy groups are collections of org nodes). All transactions processed from the org nodes associated with the hierarchy group are drawn from that hierarchy group’s budget. For example, a company can have different budgets for different departments within the company.

Prevent nominations when budget has been exceeded

Select this option to disable peer award nominations when the budget has met its ceiling. Peer awards are re-enabled when more budget is added.
